Nick Versteeg nominated for his fourth James Beard Award

March 24, 2008, New York – Producer/Director Nick Versteeg was nominated for his fourth James Beard Award, this time for his documentary Bocuse d'Or 2007. The documentary was nominated in the category "Broadcast Media Awards" for Best Television Food Special.

Two Gemini Nominations for "The Next Great Chef"

The Next Great Chef Production Team again received Gemini Award nominationsOctober, 2007 - Edi Osghian, Nick Versteeg and Giuliana Bertuzzi were nominated again as producers of The Next Great Chef, a successful series that aired for eleven weeks on Global Television earlier this year.
We are also delighted that our set designer James Hazel was nominated in the category Production Design or Art Direction.
The Gemini Awards have been annually recognizing and celebrating excellence in Canadian English-language television since 1986.

The Next Great Chef Wins Four Leo Awards

June 2, 2007 - It was a great evening for Producers Edi Osghian, Giuliana Bertuzzi and Nick Versteeg, nominated for four LEO awards and winning them ALL for their television series "The Next Great Chef" in the category Best Information or Lifestyle series. Edi Osghian won a Leo for Best Director, Todd Serotiuk and Guy Robinson for Best Screen Writing, Ian Kerr won his second Leo for Best Cinematography and Edi, Nick, and Guiliana won the Leo Award for Best Producers of the show.
The ninth annual LEO AWARDS took place on June 1st and 2nd, 2007 at the Westin Bayshore Vancouver. The LEO AWARDS honour the best and brightest film and television talent and programs in British Columbia. |
