From Baker to Filmmaker

on Amazon (Kindle eBook and Paperback)

Producer Nick Versteeg wrote this autobiography during his seven months in France and shares some of the beautiful places he and his wife visited while there.

This book will show you how you can change careers, in this case, “from Baker to Filmmaker,” illustrating the trials and tribulations of a change in life and becoming a successful and award-winning documentary producer. It will give you insight into fascinating culinary competitions in France, like the Bocuse d’Or, The World Pastry Cup, and The Food Network Years. It will take you on culinary adventures in Malaysia and Italy.

The book includes stories on filming documentaries about serious subjects, like alcohol and drug addiction and food security, and a description of the devastating earthquake in Nepal where Nick was filming for a documentary when it happened in 2015. It will show life outside television as well by having a hobby farm with chickens, geese, and ducks. Hopefully, these stories will be an inspiration for people who want to make changes in their lives.
